The Office for Social Justice, the advocacy arm of Catholic Charities, works with state lawmakers, Catholic parishes, citizens and other nonprofit organizations to advocate for the needs of those living in poverty. The 2012 Minnesota legislative session began Jan. 24, and the Office has identified several key issues it will advocate for in the coming year.
