Parish Volunteer Opportunities
We can help you help others.
Catholic Charities welcomes groups and individuals from all faith communities to help serve our neighbors in need. Donation drives allow your entire parish to get involved. One-time and recurring hands-on activities exist for individuals and small and large groups. Some examples are listed below.
Visit our volunteer page to see more opportunities and apply online. Some age restrictions apply for on-site services.
Individual Opportunities One-time: Spend a few hours helping to restock our food shelves.
Recurring: Serve as an elderly companion by spending time with an elderly person in your neighborhood for one to four hours a week. Your presence enables full-time family caregivers to take a much-needed break.
Group Opportunities One-time: Complete yardwork for a senior citizen or at one of Catholic Charities' sites. Great for a family, Boy Scout or Girl Scout troop.
Recurring: Monthly meal service opportunities for breakfast, lunch and dinner exist at sites throughout the Twin Cities. Age minimums may apply.
