Sponsor A Family is a joint holiday project
of Catholic Charities and Lutheran Social Service that brings joy to
nearly 2,000 families each year. We are grateful to individuals,
congregations, civic organizations and businesses that sponsor
families.

Volunteer Your Time
Volunteers are needed for the Sponsor A Family project from October through December 2007!
Put your talents to work and bring joy to families in our community this holiday season
by:
-
Answering phones &
providing basic office support
-
Assisting with
registration of families & donors
-
Organizing warehouse
distribution (loading, unloading & sorting donations)
-
Staffing drop-off & gift
distribution locations
-
Serving as interpreters
for families picking up gifts
-
Driving families without
transportation to their homes after they’ve received their gifts
-
Hosting a snack area for
volunteers staffing the distribution sites
We are
searching for 3,000 volunteer hours this year, and would love to work with
you! Training is provided for all volunteers.
There have two offices and
warehouses that are used, one in St. Paul and one in Minneapolis.
At this time we are only in need of Volunteers at the Minneapolis Warehouse. Please follow the link for dates/times and the volunteer application.
